As part of a transformation programme, the organisation’s Jira landscape is being standardised, modernised and aligned with a future-proof target architecture. The aim is to establish a consistent Jira platform with uniform governance standards, transparent reporting and the long-term empowerment of the user organisation.

To support this transformation project, we are seeking an experienced Jira Tooling & Enablement Expert (m/f/d). The aim is to establish a consistent Jira platform with uniform governance standards, transparent reporting and the sustainable empowerment of the user organisation.

An experienced Jira Tooling & Enablement Expert is sought to advise on this transformation project. The focus is on consolidating existing Jira concepts, establishing standardised project structures, supporting migrations to the target environment, introducing reporting and KPI standards, and implementing enablement and knowledge transfer measures.

Anforderungen

Review and consolidation of existing Jira concepts and governance requirements

• Setting up and standardising Jira projects in line with the target architecture
• Supporting Jira migrations and cloud migration initiatives
• Developing and implementing standardised reporting and dashboard solutions
• Delivering training courses, workshops and knowledge-transfer initiatives
• Identifying opportunities for optimisation through automation and AI
• Ensuring the long-term embedding of standardised working practices within the organisation

Jira Tooling, Governance & Standardisation

• Analysis, review and consolidation of existing Jira concepts, target architectures and governance requirements
• Introduction of standardised Jira structures

Setting up and configuring new Jira projects in accordance with the defined target architecture

• Introduction and documentation of standardised workflows, boards, filters and dashboards
• Implementation of consistent naming, structuring and governance guidelines

Migration & Cloud Adoption

• Planning, support and quality assurance for Jira migrations
• Migrating existing projects, backlogs and configurations to new target structures
• Creating and maintaining migration and transition documentation

Reporting & Transparency

• Analysis of existing reporting concepts and KPI definitions
• Development of standardised reporting frameworks
• Set-up and further development of dashboards at portfolio, ART and team level
• Improvement of data quality and reporting transparency
• Production of reporting manuals and documentation

Enablement & Knowledge Development

• Development and delivery of training courses, workshops and coaching programmes
• Production of user guides, best practice guidelines and training materials
• Development of sustainable self-service concepts
• Ensuring the sustainable transfer of knowledge within the organisation

Innovation, Automation & AI

• Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
• Advice on Jira best practices and modern working methods
• Evaluation and utilisation of Planning.io, Advanced Roadmaps and similar solutions
• Development of usage concepts for Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot and other AI-powered tools
