The PTT (Portfolio & Trade lifecycle Technologies) team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in the energy trading sector. As an external consultant, you will play a critical role in understanding and analyzing business requirements and supporting our software development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of software projects. You will also analyze production incidents, collaborate with developers and other teams (like L2 support) to fix issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Anforderungen

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed requirements analysis for new and existing software projects in the energy trading sector.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, business managers, and IT teams, to gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
• Work closely with the software development team to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
• Support the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business users and technical teams.
• Analyze production incidents, collaborate with developers and other teams (like L2 support) to fix issues, and ensure timely resolution. This includes investigating and diagnosing incidents to identify their root causes, and providing timely resolutions or workarounds

Competences:

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) experience. Really welcome if Allegro ETRM system.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using business analysis software and tools (e.g., Azure, JIRA, Confluence).
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
