We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to join our product team. In this role, you will act as the crucial bridge between our business stakeholders, the Business Product Owner (BPO), and the Technical Product Owner (TPO). You will translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable tasks for our development team. Whether you are an ambitious Junior or a solid Mid-Level Analyst, if you have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for agile product delivery, we want you on board.

Anforderungen

• Requirements Gathering & Elaboration: Collaborating with business stakeholders and the Business Product Owner (BPO) to elicit, detail, and align on functional requirements
• User Story Creation: Translating complex business needs into clear, actionable User Stories with robust acceptance criteria for the development team
• Backlog Refinement: Actively driving refinement sessions with developers to clarify open questions and adjust the scope based on technical feedback
• Quality Assurance & Feature Acceptance: Serving as the first validation checkpoint for completed User Stories to ensure delivered features meet business expectations before final sign-off
• Process Visualization & Modeling: Mapping out and simplifying complex business workflows (e.g., using BPMN, UML, or Miro) to establish a shared understanding across all teams
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Acting as the central communication bridge between the business side, the BPO, and the Technical Product Owner (TPO) to ensure smooth agile product delivery for the product team

• Requirements Engineering: Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into well-structured User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Agile Mindset: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum
• Domain Curiosity: A high willingness to dive deep into the energy trading domain and understand complex business workflows
• Language Skills: Fluent English is required for daily collaboration and documentation

Nice-to-have

• Domain Knowledge: Previous experience in Energy Trading, specifically dealing with environmental commodities or portfolio management
• Tooling: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Test Plans) or similar tools like Jira
• Process Modeling: Ability to visualize business workflows (e.g., using BPMN, UML, or Miro)
• Language Skills: Good command of the German language is a strong plus for stakeholder communication

Basic Tech Literacy:

• Familiarity with basic data analysis (e.g., understanding JSON structures or simple NoSQL/MongoDB queries) or API concepts to better communicate with developers
• Responsibilities * Requirements Elaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders and the BPO to capture, detail, and align on functional requirements
• User Story Creation: Write clear, concise User Stories and define robust acceptance criteria, ensuring they are "Ready" for the development team
• Backlog Refinement: Actively support and drive refinement sessions with the development team to clarify questions and adjust scope based on technical feedback
• Quality Assurance & Acceptance: Act as the first instance for accepting finished User Stories, verifying that the delivered features meet the business expectations before final technical and BPO sign-off
• Process Visualization: Map out and simplify complex business processes to create a shared understanding within the team
