Aim of Market Dynamics (MD) is to develop an integrated portfolio optimization function. MD brings a new Retail and Energy Market operating model and builds on 'One team', stronger interfaces and harmonized risk governance
Functional changes in EM UK information flow required for Market Dynamics:
- EMDP footprint enhanced by introduction of Portal for applying hedge path, calculating VWAP HOP, and calculating Transfer Price
- New component introduced for portfolio and position management (Evolio), reducing Allegro Horizon footprint as well as replacing HPT and HEX
- Exxeta/Trayport, order entry for RPM changed, RPM to GPM will go through Evolio, and RPM - T&O will require manual entry into Exxeta
- Decommissioning of legacy applications including TRMTracker, SQT, CLAP
PTT (Portfolio & Trade lifecycle Technologies) team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the energy trading sector. As an external consultant, you will play a critical role in understanding and analysing business requirements and supporting our software development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of software projects.
Anforderungen
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis for new and existing software projects in the energy trading sector.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, business managers, and IT teams, to gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
- Work closely with the software development team to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
- Consult the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business users and technical teams.
- Participate in project planning, review meetings, and provide regular progress updates.
- Consult the Product Owner in managing the backlog.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of the energy trading sector and related regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using business analysis software and tools (e.g., Azure, JIRA, Confluence).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
