Job Description:
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into suitable network solutions
- Lead or support planning and implementation of IPv4-to-IPv6 migration projects
- Design, document, and validate IPv6-based network architectures
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco network devices and services
- Support enterprise network modernization initiatives and conduct architecture reviews
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, architects, and operational teams
- Define and execute testing strategies (integration, performance, and acceptance testing)
- Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and public sector standards
Seniority / Experience:
- Senior: 6–10 years of relevant professional experience
- Junior: 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in IPv6 network design, implementation, and migration
- Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies (routing, switching, security; CCNP/CCIE preferred)
- Experience with enterprise network architectures, troubleshooting, and incident analysis
- Knowledge of NetBox (IPAM/DCIM), NetBird, and network automation
- Experience in requirements engineering, solution design, implementation, and testing
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments is an advantage
Language Requirements:
- English: professional proficiency (mandatory)
- German: B2 level or higher (advantageous)
Preferred Certifications:
- Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications
- IPv6-related certifications
