Release & Delivery Manager (m/w/d) - Remote & Hannover

Project Description: 

We are enabling to roll out a future-proof, ISO-compliant Level-3 Manage Assets process and IT solution across 13 Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Building on the Q4 2025 pilot, "StarMAP" will standardize processes, tools, and roles, creating a IT platform that supports efficiency, compliance, and innovation during the energy transition.

Objectives: 

We will deliver a fully implemented StarMAP solution across all DSOs by Q1 2027, including a harmonized Manage Assets process, a standardized tool and role framework, synergized risk and environmental analysis capabilities, and ISO 55001 compliance. By doing so, the next ROCK in Energy Networks business transformation will serve as a pilot for future initiatives such as Workforce Management (WFM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Engagement Activities: 

Our team is managing the overall program management; leading rollout management; PMO; driving user-centric design; leading testing, data migration and integrations.

Role Mission

Own end-to-end delivery of features and interfaces across rollout waves and feature releases – from development and configuration through testing and release readiness – ensuring on-time, high-quality go-lives aligned with IT security and compliance.

Core Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature delivery for product releases and rollout waves to additional units
• Drive delivery governance to protect scope, timeline, and quality across all stakeholders
• Track progress, communicate risks early, and drive mitigation
• Coordinate resources and dependencies across internal teams, service providers, and vendors
• Ensure IT security & compliance requirements are met throughout delivery

Required Expertise

• DevOps delivery experience working closely with business, developers and testers in JIRA
• Release & delivery planning across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Interface, architecture & integration expertise, incl. APIs and MuleSoft (optional)
• Preferably experience in the energy networks area preferably in the asset and portfolio management

Required Capabilities

• Delivery ownership & accountability for outcomes, not just coordination
• Strong stakeholder management across PO, IT, test teams, vendors, and DSOs
• Clear program-level communication (English & German) to create transparency on progress and risks
• Ability to align diverse interests and drive decisions under ambiguity
