Leistungsbeschreibung

As part of the project, the existing interfaces to the SAP and Powercloud billing systems, the CIAM consent management system, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaign management system and the Inspire output management system via Mulesoft, as well as related inventory functions in Salesforce, need to be analysed and automated tests developed to continuously ensure the quality of development. To this end, the external contractor is to develop appropriate test scripts. 

Anforderungen

1. Test case development

  • Developing and documenting test cases based on existing test requirements in the area of Salesforce front-end/agent processes in the service department, such as meter reading and bank data transmission, as well as related processes such as document generation.
  • Ensuring complete test case coverage of the respective software features developed. 

3. Test execution

  • Performing manual tests in accordance with the developed test cases.
  • Identifying errors and deviations from the requirements specification, in particular in relation to the defined acceptance criteria 

3. Quality assurance

  • Documentation of test results, both for successes and for errors and deviations from the requirements specification
  • Tracking of errors/deviations found to ensure timely correction
  • Development and implementation of strategies for continuous improvement of testing

Technical skills

  • Creation and execution of manual test scenarios: Development and documentation of test scenarios and test cases to validate E2E applications and processes.
  • Functional review of Salesforce customisations: Review and validate customer-specific customisations, including custom objects, workflows and automations, to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Perform regression testing: Perform regular regression testing, especially after updates or changes, to ensure that existing functionalities continue to work properly.
  • Defect and error documentation: Identifying and documenting errors and defects, creating detailed error reports and communicating with developers to resolve issues.
  • Data validation and verification: Ensuring data consistency and integrity within the Salesforce environment to identify data quality issues early on.
  • Testing integrations and interfaces: Validating integrations and data exchange between Salesforce and other systems (e.g. Mulesoft, PC or ER2S) to ensure they work together smoothly.
  • Documentation and improvement of test processes: Maintaining complete test documentation, suggesting improvements and best practices for test processes to increase test efficiency and quality
