The external contractor acts independently of the roles of internal employees, i.e. they are not involved in the regular activities of internal employees, such as appointments or departmental organisations, and do not carry out these activities. The communication necessary to deliver the project service will be carried out by individual designated internal employees (TPOs), and work orders and the necessary information will be provided as required. Development and testing will take place in an agile environment based on defined requirements.

Anforderungen

• Creation and execution of manual test scenarios: Development and documentation of test scenarios and test cases to validate E2E applications and processes
• Functional review of Salesforce customisations: Review and validation of customer-specific customisations, including custom objects, workflows and automations, to ensure they meet requirements
• Performing regression testing: Performing regular regression testing, especially after updates or changes, to ensure that existing functionalities continue to work properly
• Defect and error documentation: Identifying and documenting errors and defects, creating detailed error reports, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues
• Data validation and verification: Ensuring data consistency and integrity within the Salesforce environment to identify data quality issues early on
• Testing integrations and interfaces: Validating integrations and data exchange between Salesforce and other systems (e.g. Mulesoft, PC or ER2S) to ensure they work together smoothly
• Documentation and improvement of test processes: Maintaining complete test documentation, suggesting improvements and best practices for test processes to increase test efficiency and quality

1. Test case development

• Developing and documenting test cases based on existing test requirements in the area of order processing in sales and related processes such as contract creation, document generation and transfer of completed orders to the billing systems
• Ensuring complete test case coverage of the respective software features developed

2. Test execution

• Performing manual tests in accordance with the developed test cases.
• Identifying errors and deviations in comparison to the requirement specification, in particular to the acceptance criteria of the respective requirements

3. Quality assurance

• Documentation of test results, both for successes and for errors and deviations from the requirements specification
• Tracking of errors/deviations found to ensure timely correction
• Development and implementation of strategies for continuous improvement of testing

General conditions for service provision:

• Services are provided independently and without instruction
• The external contractor is responsible for selecting the specific methods, tools and approaches to be used in the implementation
• The external contractor is generally free to organise their own time, provided that the results are in line with the agreed sprint cycles (Scrum) and delivery deadlines
• The service can be provided remotely. Specific workshops may require occasional attendance (by arrangement)
• The results shall be presented regularly (e.g. in sprint reviews) and approved by the client
